Alex Bent + The Emptiness
Alex Bent is a Canadian alternative pop/rock artist and producer currently recording and performing as Alex Bent + the Emptiness. Best described as a mix in sound between The Smashing Pumpkins and Tyler, the Creator, Bent applies his own twist of alt-rock nostalgia to the current trends of the pop and hip-hop genre.
Bent’s upcoming single, Cancer, arrives in November 2022 and acts as a taste of what’s to come from his upcoming sophomore visual album. Made in isolation, Bent wrote and recorded the song at The Store, a community-run underground recording studio located in an undisclosed location in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Bent’s new album is set to be released in spring 2023.
